<meta charset="utf-8"/>Time Master’s phonics classes make early English learning structured, enjoyable, and practical. Designed for children aged 3–10 years, our face-to-face classes are held twice a week, with each 1.5-hour session conducted in a small 1:7 class ratio. Children gradually learn how letters and sounds work together, developing the skills needed to read unfamiliar words, spell with confidence, and communicate more clearly. The small-group setting allows every child to participate, practise, and receive individual guidance.
Our phonics training follows a progressive approach that supports children at different stages of early literacy. Each lesson combines systematic sound instruction with stories, games, reading activities, and hands-on exercises, making learning engaging and meaningful. We also incorporate the Jolly Phonics approach, helping younger learners connect sounds with letters through memorable activities. With regular practice and guided support, children build strong foundations for confident communication.
A strong phonics foundation can make learning to read more natural and enjoyable. Children develop essential language skills while becoming more confident in using English independently.
Our English phonics classes in Abu Dhabi focus on the core skills children need to progress from recognising individual sounds to reading and spelling complete words. Lessons are paced according to the child's age, level, and learning progress.
Recognise letters and connect them with their common sounds for early reading development.
Combine individual sounds smoothly to read simple words with increasing independence.
Use phonics knowledge to work out unfamiliar words instead of relying only on memorisation.
Apply sound patterns and phonics rules to spell familiar words more accurately.
Our phonics course modules move progressively from basic sound awareness to confident reading and spelling. Each module introduces new skills while reinforcing concepts learned previously.
Children identify uppercase and lowercase letters and begin connecting familiar letters with their corresponding sounds. Children listen for the first sound in words and practise identifying and producing common letter sounds.
Children learn a structured set of phonemes and practise recognising, saying, and distinguishing individual sounds. They develop clearer sound production while learning how different letters and combinations represent spoken sounds.
Children learn to join individual phonemes together to read simple words smoothly. They break words into individual sounds to support spelling, writing, and accurate word construction.
Children practise reading consonant-vowel-consonant words by applying their blending and decoding skills. They become familiar with commonly used words that appear frequently in early reading materials.
Children explore common sound combinations such as digraphs and trigraphs and practise reading words containing them. They learn common long-vowel spelling patterns and apply them when reading and spelling new words.
Children use phonics strategies to decode new words, practise spelling, and build confidence in independent reading. They combine their phonics knowledge to read simple sentences with improved accuracy and fluency.

We use a combination of traditional and modern learning tools based on each child’s level:
Visual cards reinforce letters, sounds, and word patterns through repeated practice.
Structured worksheets provide focused practice in reading and spelling.
Age-appropriate books help children apply phonics skills during guided activities.
Interactive boards support sound building, word formation, and vocabulary practice.
Carefully selected audio activities help children listen to and practise sounds.
Level-based exercises reinforce classroom learning and skill development.
Each class includes engaging activities that help kids learn through play and experimentation:
Children identify, match, and practise sounds through interactive games.
Children connect letters with sounds using visual and hands-on activities.
Children combine individual sounds to construct and read simple words.
Short stories give children opportunities to practise familiar sound patterns.
